Former Bachelor Host Chris Harrison Is Having The Last Laugh For This Reason

There’s nothing better than sweet revenge, right? Well, if there’s one person who is probably thinking that right now to himself, it’s former reality television star and The Bachelor host Chris Harrison.

In fact, there’s a new report that suggests he is having the “last laugh” as ratings for The Bachelor have tumbled ever since he was forced to step away from the show. Here’s what you need to know.

Former Bachelor Host Chris Harrison Is Having The Last Laugh For This Reason

According to the National Enquirer, the 51-year-old couldn’t help but point out during a recent interview that The Bachelor just isn’t the same without him as a host anymore. He said that the show has been suffering a decline in viewership by as much as 50 to 60 percent. In other words, it seems like there are more people tuning out than tuning in.

One source close to the situation said, “Chris believes this is karma biting the producers out to dry.”

What’s Next For The Bachelor?

While no one knows if he’s right or wrong, the National Enquirer says that it’s not like the producers of the hit show will be calling him to come back anytime soon. As many fans probably know by now, Harrison was given his walking papers back in 2021. That’s because he went on the record to defend former contestant Rachel Kirkconnell and her antebellum plantation-themed fraternity party that she actually held back in 2018. At the time, Harrison said that all of the criticism was unfair simply because the photos were taken so long ago.

And although Chris Harrison did apologize for his words, it wasn’t enough for the producers as they quickly replaced him with NFL quarterback Jesse Palmer in September of 2021. The tipster added, “Jesse is seen as smug and a poor man’s version of Chris by some. Chris has been monitoring the situation with a huge grin and looks forward to celebrating The Bachelor’s demise. He may even throw a party when the show’s officially dunzo.”

Now, whether or not that will happen remains to be seen but for now it looks like the show ill go on – with or without Chris Harrison and his opinions about it, right? So far Jesse Palmer himself hasn’t said anything about it. Watch this space.
