In fact, their parenting is so different Rossdale believes their children will have to grow up and choose which side of their lives to retain, because they can’t keep both.

The British musician Gavin Rossdale is best known for being the lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Bush. He’s also known for having been hitched to American singer Gwen Stefani, 53, from 2002 to 2016 and sharing three amazing boys with her – Kingston, 17, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, nine.
On last week Thursday’s episode of the podcast Not So Hollywood, Rossdale told host Adrianna Costa about how different he and Stefani’s parenting of their sons are. However, he didn’t necessarily see it as a bad thing.
“I think you can go one of two ways – you can either do everything together and really co-parent, and see how that goes – or you can just parent. And I think we just parent,” the 57-year-old said.

The musician, known for hits like “Glycerine,” went on to note that he and Stefani are “really different people,” and it helps their children to have a more diverse perspective on life.
“I don’t think there’s much similarity in the way we bring them up but I think that gives them an incredible perspective to then choose which pieces of those two lives they’d like to inherit and move on with and which part of themselves come out of the whole process,” he explained.
Rossdale continued: “Because that’s what’s important is to give them a wide view of things and we definitely have some particularly opposing views so I think it’d be really helpful for them to make their own minds as individuals.”
In addition to the three sons he shares with Stefani, Rossdale is also the father of 34-year-old model Daisy Loewe. In 2021, Stefani got married to her second husband Blake Shelton, after meeting him on the US version of “The Voice.”

Shelton is also said to play an active role in the parenting of Stefani’s sons. According to Stefani, they both share the same “morals.”
