Gillian Anderson has finally revealed that she is unbothered by Alec Baldwin’s tweet regarding her accent. Baldwin’s tweet was aimed at mocking her despite his better half, Hilaria Baldwin having gone through a similar path of criticism.

While on an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Anderson stated how the accent criticism never played on her mind all through the course of its media Sting. Anyways, this isn’t the first criticism she had encountered and definitely will not be the last she would expect, she said. In her words, she told the interviewer: “I don’t have social media on my phone, so I wasn’t aware of the questions. A couple of people texted to say something was going on. I didn’t pay any attention to it because it is just something that I live”.

However, that did not sit well with many fans of the Social Media platform. As they perceived his tweet as very hypocritical considering his wife had had a similar challenge with accents. A million backlashes from fans forced Alec to deactivate his Twitter account. Nevertheless, he went on Instagram to address the whole brouhaha.
