Ginnifer Goodwin – Reacts To ‘Once Upon A Time’ Reboot Rumors
Recently, fans have excitedly been sharing ‘Once Upon A Time’ reboot rumors, so much so that they may magically wish it into existence. And if producers are ever considering the possibility of rebooting the fantasy franchise – most other shows are being rebooted these days anyway, so why not? – they know who to call.
Goodwin revealed her interest in returning to the show during the Disney fan event D23, which took place in Anaheim, California, on Friday, Aug. 9.
“I hear these rumors as well [about a reboot], and I am available if they [want to do that],” Goodwin, 45, said. “I mean, I live around the corner from the creator, so I’m sure I’ll hear things.”
Goodwin also shared her enthusiasm to dive back into the world where she met her husband Josh Dallas – the father of her two kids. “I’d love to go back. My whole life is kind of built around it. I mean, I married Prince Charming. His babies are my babies,” she enthused.
The franchise revolved around several fairytale characters colliding with the rigors of modern existence. It was created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, and starred Goodwin as Snow White and her husband Dallas, 45, as Prince Charming.
The show ran for seven seasons between 2011 and 2018 and within that time was able to build a loyal fanbase ranging in the millions.
Last year, Dallas talked about the legacy the popular ABC show left behind during an interview with PEOPLE. He said: “People come up to me all the time talking about Once and saying they just started watching it and they’re loving it.”
As we wait for ABC to tell us whether we’re going to be heading back into the ‘OUAT’ universe or not, we have Disney’s ‘Zootopia’ to look forward to. Goodwin has returned to reprise her role of Judy Hobbs; a rabbit who made her dreams of being a police officer come true.
