For weeks now, fans have been speculating that there could actually be trouble in paradise for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s marriage, but in just one picture, the former “The Voice” coaches seem to have banished this line of speculation.

In recent times, work seems to have kept Stefani and Shelton apart, as it drove them in different directions. In the lead-up to their sweet 2021 wedding, and even sometime after that, they love-bombed fans with their adorable outings and collaborations. For weeks now, it simply hasn’t been that way.

As a result of their separate projects, the couple, both accomplished musicians in their own right, are rarely seen together these days. In fact, they didn’t even get to spend this New Year’s Day together due to their different commitments.

All this, and the tiny detail where Stefani deleted videos featuring Shelton from her socials, led fans to speculate that they’re going through a rough patch in their marriage. Fans weren’t seeing those team player vibes the couple gave up at the beginning.

However, on Monday, the star squashed these speculations when she shared a picture of her and Shelton looking adorable.

In the picture, we see the couple cozying up to each other next in a polaroid placed next to a bouquet of flowers. The words “never knew a love like this” were written in marker below.

Fans couldn’t help wondering whether they were teasing a musical collaboration – and it wouldn’t be a first!

In the comments section, fans were convinced another duet was on the way, with one gushing, “I’m screaming with excitement and I don’t know why,” and another sweetly commenting: “What is this cuteness happening on a Monday. I’m loving it. Thank you.”

So far, the No Doubt frontwoman, 54, and the “Austin” hitmaker, 47, have worked on four singles together, including 2020’s “Happy Anywhere,” which reached the top 40 on a Billboard chart.

Nevertheless, it’s possible we’ll be seeing slightly less of the couple together this year due to their commitment to grow their respective careers.

Soon, Shelton will hit the road for his “Back to the Honky Tonk” tour, and Stefani will finally be reuniting with her band No Doubt after years of hiatus.
