The country musician was gleeful to be back on the road again. Blake Shelton shared the first stop of his tour on social media.
The Honky Tonk Tour kicked off in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Blake posted a series of photos and videos that showed him performing in a crowded arena.
Most of the photos showed how large the audience was. Blake enjoyed being back on the stage again. He captioned the post: “The honky tonk is open. Hershey, thanks for kicking off the tour with us…Detroit you’re next!!!”
Gwen Stefani was missing from these stops. Blake only performed with his band and the opening acts. The couple just released their new duet called “Purple Irises.” It’s a different sound from their other collaborations. Gwen has been promoting their new song without Blake by her side.
On Thursday, February 22, she took to Instagram to post a lyric video of the song. She asked fans what their favorite lyric from “Purple Irises” was.
The No Doubt frontwoman also interviewed with Audacy Check-in with the radio station KROQ in Los Angeles, California. She also opened up about her highly anticipated reunion with her band No Doubt at Coachella.

Gwen Stefani fans were disappointed that she wasn’t part of Blake Shelton’s tour. On Saturday, February 24, he shared more content from his latest stop in Detroit, Michigan.
The “God Gave Me You” star also shared more photos inside the Little Caesars Arena, which included a shot of the huge audience. He played his guitar on the large stage.
He captioned the post: “We’re just getting warmed up!!! And Detroit brought it!!! Damn!!! Milwaukee, let’s see what y’all got tonight!!!!”
Fans flocked to the comment section to react. Most of them were surprised that Gwen Stefani ditched his tour. They wanted to know when she’ll pop up at some point.
One fan asked: “Has Gwen appeared at any of these concerts?”
Another user responded: “She wasn’t at ours Thursday night. I was hoping.”
