Gwyneth Paltrow is currently in the news after she discussed how she shed the extra pounds she gained during the COVID-19 quarantine. Not long after she recovered from Coronavirus, Gwyneth Paltrow talked about her new diet plan on Dr. Will Cole’s Dear Media podcast.
Paltrow Mentioned She Tested Positive For COVID-19 In 2020
Gwyneth talked about how she struggled with metabolism and subsequent weight gain. She mentioned she had discovered that her metabolism was slowing down in recent years.
She added that being 48 years, it is expected of women of her age to lose about 30 percent of their metabolic speed. She also believes that her COVID-19 diagnosis might have affected her metabolism as well.
Gwyneth said she had COVID-19 in 2020, and it left her with some fatigue and brain fog. However, in 2011 Paltrow had been part of the pandemic thriller (Contagion) which became, possibly one of the most-watched movies in 2020. This was the time COVID-19 had just hit the whole world and People were still going to find similarities between the pandemic in the movie and the one we are suffering from.
Paltrow said according to the doctor, her healing would take longer than expected. Ever since recovering from COVID-19, Paltrow has been focusing on what she puts in her body and has also refrained from sugar and alcohol.
Gwyneth Paltrow Discussed Her Mew Diet Plan
Paltrow mentioned that her ability to lose weight rapidly has decreased ever since she suffered and recovered from COVID-19. She thus said that she has gone back to her favorite bone broth diet, together with Dr. Cole’s ketotarion diet and intermittent fasting. According to Paltrow, the combination of the three has greatly helped her to lose weight.
She wrapped up by saying that after being on her new diet plan, she has lost 11Ibs and she feels amazing ever since she started her diet plan.
She also shared on her Instagram that she’s been working with Dr will Cole this year, and also experimenting with the program in his new book. She added that will’s flexible, the four-week plan combines intuitive eating with intermittent fasting and ketoroan foods.

She also said everything she’s been doing feels good, also a gift to her body. Gwyneth Paltrow said she became very strict with what she puts in her mouth, avoiding alcohol and sugar. Taking a lot of water, exercising her body every morning, doing more organic,s and of course, fasting intermittently.
Gwyneth said, in weeks of following Dr. Cole’s plan she already feels amazing.
She said she is full of energy, works out every morning, does an infrared sauna as often as possible. She said it’s all in service of healing.
She mentioned that Dr. Will Cole’s book is not a book of dogma. It will neither punish you nor restrict you. She encouraged everyone to check the book out.
She said that Dr will Cole has helped her feel her best in a long time. She feels really good.
