Gwyneth Paltrow – Says That Having Children Young Might Ruin Your Marriage

During the latest episode of her Good podcast, Gwyneth sat down with Katy Perry and talked about how much relationships change once kids enter the picture. “It’s hard on a relationship. Like I’ve looked back now on like the data set of parents with young kids and it just … ruins the relationship,” Paltrow said with a laugh. “It’s really hard!”

Katy then added, “I think if both people in the relationship are willing to do the work then it’s going to be so much easier. But if one person thinks they don’t have any work to do then it’s going to be really challenging.”

Despite all of the challenges that come with motherhood, Gwyneth still said that motherhood is the most rewarding job she’s ever had in her life.

“I never felt lonely again after I had her [Apple] … and I had felt profoundly lonely in my life,” Paltrow revealed.

Does Gwyneth Paltrow Have A Point?

Back in October, Gwyneth also opened up about the love that she still has for her ex-boyfriend, Brad Pitt. She said, “When we first broke up, we weren’t friends for a while and then we sort of found our way back, probably about 18 or 19 years ago, something like that, and then just kind of stayed in touch over the years. I adore him. He’s an amazing person, and he’s a great entrepreneur, and such a creative, and such a good person. I really love him. I’m a big fan.”

Gwyneth, who is now married to Brad Falchuk, added that her husband has no problem with the friendship that she has with her ex. She said: “Probably one of the things that he likes about me is that I believe in conscious uncoupling. Whether you’re uncoupling with a coworker, a spouse, a boyfriend, I really do believe that if you’ve invested in somebody – and of course there are exceptions – to amputate that relationship … maybe you’re not then fully letting the full lesson reveal itself and the healing happen.”
