But in reality, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, 25, and Justin Bieber, 28, have battled health challenges after tying the knot. First Hailey got rushed to the hospital, receiving a scary diagnosis of a stroke. And now Justin has received a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome, resulting in paralysis of his face.

However, an insider told People that the two stay strong in supporting each other. “Between Hailey’s health scare earlier this year and now this, it’s a lot for them. Hailey is worried as well,” admitted the source. But the model won’t let her fears stop her from caring for her husband.

As a result, just as Justin cared for Hailey during her stroke episode, she does the same for him. the insider added. And the source described the dynamic duo as a “great team. [They] will get through it together. Justin can’t wait to recover and continue working.”

However, the insider also admitted that the two feel fearful about Justin Bieber’s future. But that fear doesn’t stop them from holding onto hope and their faith. And when Bieber shared his diagnosis and fears on Instagram, Hailey immediately responded.

“Hey everyone. Justin here. I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on,” began the pop musician in his post. “Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and it is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.” And he added that the symptoms make it “progressively harder to eat.”

Even as Justin sought prayers, Hailey responded. “I love you, baby,” wrote the model in her own Instagram Story. However, Bieber did admit the serious nature of his illness. Calling it “pretty serious,” Justin confessed, “I wish this wasn’t the case. But obviously, my body is telling me I got to slow down. And I hope you guys understand, and I’ll be using this time to rest and relax and get back to 100 percent so that I can do what I was born to do,” emphasized Bieber.
