An on-off couple for nearly a decade, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber broke up for the last time three years ago. Bieber married model Hailey Baldwin a few months after, while Gomez went onto heal from the relationship through her music -namely her 2019 singles “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now.” – and is happily single now.

Hailey Baldwin  – Hailey Baldwin Has Always Been Supportive Of Salena Gomez Despite Fan Speculation

Baldwin made it clear she is supportive of Gomez by liking Vogue’s Instagram of the singer’s new cover with the magazine. This is not the first time she has done so. In October 2019, Baldwin made headlines for liking a post about Gomez which celebrated her singles ; a move which helped diffuse speculation that Baldwin took issue with Gomez singing about her husband.

Around the same time, Baldwin faced intense backlash after she posted an Instagram story of herself listening to Summer Walker’s “I’ll Kill You” minutes after the release of “Lose You to Love Me.” She later responded to the rumors that her post was about Selena, calling it “BS.”

Gomez also defended Baldwin at the time, noting “I do not stand for women tearing women down. And I will never, ever be by that. So please be kind to everyone. It doesn’t matter what the situation is. If you’re my fans, don’t be rude to anybody, please. Don’t go off and say things that you just feel in the moment. And just please, from me, know that that’s not my heart. My heart is only to release things that I feel that are me and that I’m proud of. And that’s all that I’ll say, yeah.”

The Selena-Hailey-Justin drama died down in the months and year passed, with a source revealing this past December that all three of them wanted fans to stop pitting the two women against each other. The source said, “Selena, Justin and Hailey are all tired of the Selena vs. Hailey narrative at this point. It’s exhausting for everyone, and they just want people to move on so they can move on too and not focus on any further negativity or past situations.”
