How many of us can say that we forgot our first big break? I doubt any of us can, and Harrison Ford is no different.

At the premiere of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” the star shared the reason he’s ever grateful for being cast in the hit adventure franchise.

“It was a wonderful script,” Ford, 80, told reporters about what sparked his interest in the movie, which quickly became one of his most iconic roles.

He also shared his gratitude to have been given the chance to become the swashbuckling archaeologist one more time.

He added, “Steven Spielberg was the director at that time and I had never been offered anything that attractive before, so I’m very, very grateful for that.”

The premiere, which was held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, saw the star walk the red carpet with his wife Calista Flockhart. The outing came a day before the couple was due to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary of their Jun. 15, 2010 wedding in New Mexico.

During his speech, he paid tribute to his longtime wife, praising her for being supportive of his career. “My life has been enabled by my lovely wife, who has supported my passions and my dreams and I’m grateful,” he told the audience during his acceptance speech.

“And you know, I love you too,” he added about Flockhart. “You’ve given my life purpose and meaning and I’m grateful for that, so grateful.” As for playing Jones one last time, Ford said it was a great thing for him to see the character “rally for one last adventure.”
