Harry Styles And Olivia Wilde Are Taking A Break—The Former Couple ‘Remains Friends’

Harry Styles, 28, and Olivia Wilde, 38, have moved on after more than two years together. According to People, multiple sources confirmed on Friday, November 18, that the couple was taking time apart amid the drama surrounding their movie, Don’t Worry Darling.

Styles remains focused on touring all over the world. Wilde hopes to focus on her children, Otis (8) and Daisy (6), working locally in Los Angeles.

He’s still touring and is now going abroad,” one of the sources told the outlet. “She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A. It’s a very amicable decision. Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart,” the source explained.

Even though they are no longer a couple, the source explains that they parted as friends. They still care deeply for each other, they just want different things out of life at this stage.

The news came as a shock to their fans. They were recently seen together leaving a Los Angeles gym on November 12. And on November 15, Wilde attended Styles show with her two children in tow.

They started dating in January 2021. They’ve been dodging rumors of trouble in their relationship for several months. So, their split hit their fans and supporters pretty hard.

Olivia’s ex, Jason Sudeikis, served her with custody papers onstage while presenting at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas in August. Wilde and Sudeikis shared two children and disagreed over their custody arrangement.

Olivia and Jason’s nanny alleged there was drama between the former couple (Jason and Olivia) that could question her children’s safety in her care. Wilde and Styles appeared to be on solid ground even with the custody drama.

“I’ve never publicly talked about my life away from work and found that it’s benefited me positively,” Harry explained. “There’s always going to be a version of a narrative, and I think I just decided I wasn’t going to spend the time trying to correct it or redirect it in some way.”

“It’s obviously really tempting to correct a false narrative,” Olivia said. “But I think what you realize is that when you’re really happy, it doesn’t matter what strangers think about it. All that matters to you is what’s real, and what you love, and who you love.”
