The “SKKN BY KIM“ founder’s former assistant Stephanie Shepherd a.k.a “Steph Shep” has come out to squash the long-lasting feuding speculation once and for all. Steph began working with Kim Kardashian in 2013 but was axed by the reality tv star in 2017.

In an appearance on “The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast” which aired on October 24, Steph revealed why she was really fired, and, it’s not so surprising that the beefing narrative was false all along. Speaking at the podcast Steph said, “Well, I got fired.”
She went on to explain, “It was such a huge deal at the time. I mean, fired in the nicest sense of the word. I was crying, she was crying, because we are friends. And honestly, that friendship is really important to both of us.”
Kim Kardashian — Kim Reluctantly Let Steph Go
Steph went on to explain that while she enjoyed working for Kim, she felt she had done everything she needed to do and was ready to move on to bigger things.
She said that Kim realized that and willingly but reluctantly let her go. “It was kind of, I think this theme in my life, where I’ve kind of just inherently felt like, ‘Oh, it’s time to move on here. I don’t know if I have anything more that I can contribute to this,'” said Steph.

She continued, “And I think she probably felt that and saw that. She was like, ‘You need something more. You have this thing, pursue that. I’ll support you, whatever you need.'” She went on to describe the scene as, “The most beautiful uncoupling.”
She also added, “Never been closer, and she still is someone I go to for personal and professional advice all the time. But I think it was just that feeling inside where I was like, ‘OK, it’s time for me to move on.’ And I didn’t really have a plan. But I just knew that it was time for me to try something different.”
Steph Shep – Says She Learnt A Lot From Kim
Reminiscing on her career before and after working with Kim, 43, Steph who has appeared in countless episodes of both E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” and Hulu’s “The Kardashian” said she learned a lot from Kim and it helped shape her career mind and became her ladder to success.

“It’s a machine and it’s meticulous,” she gushed over Kim’s business empire. “I always say it’s like my graduate school because I learned everything that I know about sending an email to an agent or speaking to a manager, or booking glam, or finding a photographer, or doing product development, or dealing with a public. Every single step of everything that you have to know about being an entrepreneur in the entertainment business, I learned from working under Kim.”
