Four months ago, on April 12 to be precise, the “Spiderman: No Way Home” actor’s daughter Corrine Foxx shared that her father Jamie Foxx had a medical emergency.

The news made not just the actor’s family and friends reach out to wish him a fast recovery but his fans all over the world as well.
Three weeks after the news, the actor made a public appreciation post to everyone who stood by him and prayed immensely for his recovery.
Exactly one month after his health news, Corrine returned online to bash rumor bearers who said that her family is preparing for the worst.
The 29-year-old said, “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” she went ahead to add, “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday!”
Two months later, on July 21, the “Project Power” actor broke his silence and addressed his recovery, and stars like Will Smith, Dwayne Johnson, LL Cool J, etc., shared their excitement at the news.

Jamie Foxx — Reaction From Fellow Stars Following Jamie’s Update
The 55-year-old actor took to his Instagram to share a video of himself with his fans his gratitude for their support, and also to his family for protecting him. “First of all, I wanna say thank you to everybody that’s prayed, man, and sent me messages. I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back.”
He went on to share, “I went through something that I thought I would never ever go through, I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that, man.”
“I want you to see me laughing, having a good time partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through,” said Jamie.

He went on to appreciate his younger sister Deidra Dixon and daughter Corinne on how they were able to keep things at bay, Jamie said, “They saved my life. To them, to God, to a lot of great medical people, I’m able to leave you this video.”
He went on to add, “I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way, and y’all know they kept it airtight, they didn’t let nothing out, they protected me, and that’s what I hope that everyone could have in moments like these.”
A lot of stars trooped into the comments section to share their reactions. Will Smith in his long comment told Jamie, “Awww Man, Who’s cuttin’ onions?? Love U Foxx!! Your Light Is Needed ‘n Appreciated Right Now!”

Following his health news, there were a lot of speculations on Jamie’s actual condition. News that the actor has gone blind spread but, Jamie took time to address it.
The actor said that his silence caused a lot of rumors, “Some people said I was blind,” he said. “But as you can see the eyes are working, the eyes are working just fine. I’m not paralyzed, but I went to hell and back, and my road to recovery had some potholes as well. But I’m coming back and I’m able to work.”
He also assured his fans that he’s actually real and not a clone. He concluded his message with, “I love everybody and I love all of the love that I got,” he said. “If you see me out from now on and every once in a while I just burst into tears, it’s just because it’s been tough, man. I was sick, man. But now I got my legs under me, so you’re gonna see me out.”
