Tesla founder Elon Musk has been in the spotlight since the January inauguration of POTUS Donald Trump. His close friendship with the second term president has earned him the nickname “bro in chief.”
The level of scrutiny on the head of the House DOGE Committee is monumental and as such Musk’s personal life is under a microscope. Bet you didn’t know that his mom was a supermodel, just like Trump’s wife Melania?
Elon’s Musk’s Amazing Personal Life
Even more amazing is the extended family that the South African entrepreneur is growing. Believe it or not, Musk has “fathered 12 children with three different women.”
According to TheList, Elon and his now ex-wife, Justine Wilson, welcomed their first child, Nevada Alexander Musk, in 2002. Sadly the boy passed away from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) when he was just 10 weeks old.
Wilson began IVF treatments two months after the tragedy and the couple had twins Vivian Jenna Wilson and Griffin Musk in 2004. “A few days after Vivian, who was assigned male at birth, turned 18 in April 2022, she filed court documents to change her first name to accurately reflect her identity as a transgender woman.”
Elon Musk’s Growing Family
In 2006, Elon Musk and Justine Wilson became parents of five when their triplets, Kai, Saxon, and Damian Musk, entered the world, conceived via IVF.
Wilson said that the kids were just like dad, and “asked for her blessing to launch their dog into space like a rocket.”
Elon Had His Sixth Child With Grimes In 2020
Things did not work out for Musk and Wilson, and in 2020 he and then-girlfriend Grimes welcomed their first son, X Æ A-12. The name is “crafted it out of characters that had a deeper meaning to the couple … X represented the “unknown variable,” Æ were the letters used to spell AI in her elven language, and A-12 was the predecessor to their beloved aircraft, SR-17.”
Grimes noted in 2023 that like his siblings, her son “had developed a deeply rooted love for space and had already surpassed her knowledge of rockets.”
In 2022 Grimes 2022 told Vanity Fair that she and Musk welcomed a daughter through surrogacy, in December 2021.
They named the girl Exa Dark Sideræl Musk which was explained thusly: “Exa came from the supercomputer speed measuring term exaFLOPS, while Dark represented “the unknown. People fear it but truly it’s the absence of photons. Dark matter is the beautiful mystery of our universe,”and Sideræl was an elven variant of sidereal, AKA “the true time of the universe, star time, deep space time, not our relative earth time.”
To make things easier, the child is known as Y.
In 2023 it was learned that Grimes and the billionaire welcomed a third child named Techno “Tau” Mechanicus Musk. She told author Walter Issacson “that she was in awe of her youngest child’s eyes and believed he may as well be from another planet.”
Sadly, the couple split up in 2022. Maybe this is why: Elon “quietly welcomed twins Strider and Azure with Neuralink director Shivon Zilis just a couple of weeks before they had Exa Dark Sideræl.”
Elon Musk’s Population Theory
According to the SpaceX founder, he wants to bring children into the world in order to “counteract the declining population rate.” He is doing a good job.
But wait, there’s more! In a June 2024 talk with Page Six, Musk revealed that he and Zilis welcomed his twelfth child a few months prior. This time Musk didn’t disclose the child’s name or sex.
What do you think of Elon’s personal mission to populate the world?
