Howard Stern recently updated his audience on a contract renewal and also talked about the sad fact that his co-host Robin Quivers is battling stage 4 cancer.
Cancer Diagnosis
Quivers and Howard Stern worked together for years, mainly with Sirius XM, but she struggled with cancer since a diagnosis in 2012. Declared cured at one stage, the update on YouTube revealed that the cancer returned in 2016. She’s been taking care of her health since the latest diagnosis. In fact, Stern’s contract renewal hinged on her health struggles.
Stern signed the contract largely to support Quivers during her illness. Despite looking for a less demanding schedule, he seemed determined to put the health of his colleague first. Of course, fans are thrilled that Howard has renewed, but not so happy to hear about Robin’s stage 4 cancer update.

Besides that, Stern told his listeners that he loves Robin and has always had a lot of time for her. What he admires the most is the fact that she seems full of life, loves to travel, and loves sports. Naturally, watching her struggle with not being able to do all of that right now hurts him.
According to Howard Stern, Robin Quivers has to live a very strict life to take care of herself. Yet, she continues with her battle and with being a part of their legendary show.

The Sun reported that Howard became very emotional, almost angry but near to tears. The outlet cited him saying, “when she’s not on the air, she’s busy literally fighting cancer…It breaks my f**king heart that she has to sit there with [it].”

Additionally, he said, “God forbid, anything gets into her body that could be a foreign agent.” Notably, he added, “She has really lived a lifestyle of perfection, which is how she’s healthy as f**k, but she’s still got to fight this goddamn thing, right?”
