Insider Reveals Who Kourtney Kardashian Blames For Son’s Decision To Move Out

Having a blended family is not always easy, because any of them might choose to live with your ex and it would sting. Kourtney Kardashian has sadly felt this experience, and according to an insider, she’s not handling it all that well.

Kourtney Kardashian may have her hands full with baby son Rocky Thirteen Barker, but she’s also suffering the blow from her eldest son choosing to move out to live with his dad.

This is somewhat expected in a blended family, because when Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian tied the knot, they already had children from previous relationships.

Kourtney Kardashian shares three children with ex Scott Disick: Reign, 9, Penelope, 11, and Mason, 14.

In the same way, Travis shares two and a stepdaughter with Shanna Moakler: Landon, 20, Alabama, 18, and stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya, 24.

So when the reality TV star and the Blink-182 drummer married, their decision affected more people than themselves.

While Kourtney has said that the new living situation is something she is giving her children time to adapt to, it wasn’t easy when she found out one of her children decided he needed some space.

“He’s now made the decision not to live with Kourtney anymore,” Life & Style quoted an insider saying. As for her reaction to the teen’s decision, the insider revealed that “she is heartbroken over it.”

Kourtney Kardashian – Blames Soctt Disick’s “Cool Dad” Parenting For Influencing Mason’s Decision To Live With Him

Kids do love the “cool parents” approach rather than good old tough love parenting, even though the second one is arguably the best approach to parenting.

Speaking on how Kourtney feels about the move, the insider shared, “While Kourtney is giving Mason space to work through his feelings, at the end of the day, she blames Scott. Scott always tries to be the cool dad.”

Elaborating on the ways Scott is a “cool dad,” the insider said, “The kids can have all the sugar and junk food they want [at his house], and they can stay up as late as they want and watch whatever they want. [He] buys them anything they ask for. It’s no surprise they all love going to his house. They love their dad, but it helps that it’s a free-for-all when they’re over there!”
