As the holiday season fast approaches, stress is no doubt hitting record highs as we strive to have the best one yet. Holidays are being booked, gifts are being bought, and holiday shopping is taking over our lives so much so that we barely have enough space for the Christmas spirit.

There’s one person that’s not weighed down by the chaos of the season, and that is because she’s made a beautiful discovery. That person is Jada Pinkett Smith, and while she may not have discovered Santa’s magical workshop, what she did discover is nearly as remarkable.

Jada, 53, is happily cruising down the river of life’s simple pleasures, and she’s not hoarding it. In an Instagram post shared on Sunday, Dec. 1, the ‘Gotham City’ actress posted a picture of herself gazing out the window from a bathtub. In the caption, she explained that she was taking the time to appreciate the little things.

“Lately I’ve been obsessed with ‘finding magic in the mundane.’ Discovering the simple joys that drop me into present time that enhances connection with myself and others,” she wrote, adding, “Like watching the Hawks fly outside my girlfriend’s bathroom window while sitting in her tub after indulging in a mud mask she put on my face that made my skin so happyyyy.”

She also shared a clip that sees her enjoying the “delicious” May Lindstrom honey mud mask, which was recommended to her by the friend. While she admitted it was quite “pricey,” she did recommend it by saying it was “worth it.”

She then explains in the video, “The reason why I’m sharing this with you is because I have a project, a new project this year. And, no, it’s not a skincare line. But, when I introduce the project to you you will understand why I am going to start sharing with you my obsessions.”

This goes in line with the “grateful” post she shared on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28. In the video, she is seen basking in the sun and saying, “Happy day of thanks and gratitude. I’m sending you all so much love.” The caption only carries the word “grateful.”
