Jada Pinkett Smith Opens Up On ‘Unbearable Despair’ She Has Experienced

Jada Pinkett SmithWill Smith’s wife Jada opened up on Instagram about painful memories after the latest episode of Red Table Talk.

The latest episode of Red Table Talk featured Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow, psychologist, Dr. Alfiee Breland-Noble, Adrienne Banfield-Norris sitting down with April Simpkins. April is the mother of the late Miss USA Chelsie Kryst, who took her own life in January 2022. The episode was so heartbreaking, Jada broke down in tears and later shared her own experiences of “unbearable despair” on Instagram.

Jada Pinkett-Smith – Shares Heartbreaking Memories

Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, recently experienced the most personal Red Table Talk for her yet. In the episode, April Simpkins, the mother of Miss USA Chelsie Kryst shared the heartbreaking experience of losing her daughter Cheslie Kryst to suicide. During the episode, Jada was clearly emotional and even broke down in tears at one point.

As noted by Hello!, Following the Red Table Talk interview, Pinkett Smith headed to Instagram to share her own experience of “unbearable despair.”

In her post, Jada wrote, “The Cheslie Kryst episode has been the most personal table for me yet. Listening to @aprils_hr, Cheslie’s mother read the note Cheslie left to her before jumping to her death, brought me right back into my experiences of such overwhelming, unbearable despair that I was consumed by everyday.”

The mother of two explained that her past despair had gotten her to a point of trying to plan an accident. Moreover, she wanted an accident that she could have so her children would not know that her death was by suicide.

In her lengthy caption, Jada thanked the “Great Divine” for her children. She explained that she may not have been enough to stay alive for herself at the time. However, her children were and this brought her spirit time until the Great Supreme could make a way to enter her heart and do the rest.

Pinkett Smith went on to explain that five months into her 40th year, she experienced a “deep spiritual and psychological healing” through a specific therapy that saved her life. However, she added that this was just the beginning. Since then, it has been a “deep 10 year journey of healing.”

Jada explained that she has to focus on her healing every day and this has not been without pitfalls or relapses, but she is here. Willow’s mother explained that it is one day at a time as she grows love and patience for herself.

Jada Pinkett Smith – Has Learned To Call For Help

According to Jada, the beauty of the Great Divine is that it helps anyone who is suffering and has a way out specifically designed for them. Meanwhile, she added that this is how much you are loved. Now, in her despair, she has learned to cry for help instead of for the sake of the pain. Moreover, she had to learn how to ask for help when she needed it but also has had to learn to surrender to a power greater than herself and cultivate deep faith.

Speaking to her followers, she wrote that she is asking them to trust and have faith, and find a reason to hang on. While people can’t see it yet, she says she is living proof that this is true. Jada wrote that even as she sits under the pressures of the deep misunderstanding around her character, she is grateful to be alive.

“I’m grateful for what the Great Divine is showing me and teaching me. I’m grateful for every piece of my journey and the strength-giving love of The Great One above.”

“If no one has told you “I love you” today… I LOVE YOU and so does the Great Supreme. I promise.”
