Jamie Foxx Pictured On A Yacht Following Secret Health Complications

A few weeks ago, the internet lost its mind when news of Jamie Foxx being rushed to the hospital from the set of one of his upcoming movies became public.

Fans, and celebrity friends alike, sent their heartfelt prayers to the star and his family. While rumors kind of outran the truth at certain points, people believed the medical complication to be severely life-threatening.

Since then, even though his daughter confirmed that he has been discharged from the hospital and is recuperating, he has been absent from several press events.

However, a video of the actor waving at passersby from a yacht was published by TMZ, with sources close to the star confirming that it is indeed the “They Cloned Tyrone” star onboard the yacht. It’s one of his first public appearances since he was hospitalized in April.

Since his daughter Corinne shared the news that her father has been out of the hospital, Foxx is yet to return to the spotlight, even though there’s reason to believe that he has resumed filming Netflix movie “Back in Action” in Atlanta. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” Corinne said in April during the earlier days of his hospitalization.

Corinne also took to social media in May to address the inaccurate reports stating that her father’s condition had gotten worse, writing, “My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”

However, Foxx is yet to appear at any public events, and fans only hear updates about his recovery from costars like John Boyega. “I spoke to him recently and he just wished me the best of luck with the press tour, and he assured me that he’s all good,” Boyega said. “It’s all love.”

Nick Cannon has taken over for him on Beat Shazam as a guest host for season 6 until he recovers enough to return. Kelly Osbourne will be filling in for Corinne, who serves as the show’s DJ.

The same day as the announcement, Foxx shared a brief message on his Instagram, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” he wrote. “Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon. See u all soon.”
