It’s been four weeks since the world got to hear that the “Project Power” actor Jamie Fox suffered a medical emergency. An information brought to light by his daughter Corrine Foxx.
Three weeks later, the actor broke his silence on his hospitalization and publicly appreciated everyone who stood by him and prayed immensely for his recovery.
On Friday, May 12, Corrine came back to her Instagram account to shut down rumors from media outlets that blew the story out of proportion by posting a screenshot of a news headline that read: “JAMIE FOXX’S LOVED ONES REPORTEDLY PREPARING FOR THE WORST.”
Corrine wrote underneath the screenshot, “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” she went ahead to add, “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”

Three weeks after the “Spiderman: No Way Home” actor’s daughter Corrine made the unexpected announcement that her dad Jamie suffered a medical emergency, the actor spoke up.
Jamie who was filled with gratitude to his fans and well-wishers for all their love and support didn’t hide his feelings at all. He took to his Instagram account on Wednesday, May 3, to post, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”
In that same post, Jamie, 55, didn’t fail to “appreciate” his friend Nick Cannon for filling in for him on his “Fox show Beat Shazam,” to Nick he said, “Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon see u all soon.”
On Wednesday, April 12, Corrine, 29, took to her Instagram to break her dad’s medical news to the world, “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers.”
Two days before Corrine released her father’s medical health scare, Jamie was in Atlanta filming the Netflix movie “Back in Action,” in which he will be starring alongside his “Annie” co-star Cameron Diaz.
Jamie was last seen onset on April 10, and following his hospitalization, a stunt double was brought to fill in for him and a second individual served as his photo double.
