Jane Fonda Details Completely Starstruck Meeting With Tom Brady

For most of us, meeting Tom Brady is enough to make us want to jump out of our skin with joy. What we didn’t know was that it’ll be a totally normal reaction if you’re with Jane Fonda.

According to the actress, meeting the sportsman was one of her most awestruck moments. Score one for team Brady.

Jane Fonda – Recalls First Time Meeting “Kind And Humble” Tom Brady

It’s not everyday that someone leaves a legend like actress Jane Fonda “completely starstruck”.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet of the “80 for Brady” premiere, the 85-year-old actress had a wild time recalling her first time meeting the 45-year-old NFL superstar.

“He was kind and humble, which is hard to believe considering how brilliant he is at what he does, but it’s true,” Fonda told the outlet of Brady. “He was also sweet and polite.”

“My knees actually got weak when he walked into my trailer. I’m in awe of that kind of skill,” she continued. “When somebody is the best in the world at what they do, you have to honor that and respect it.”

Fonda, who stars alongside Sally Field, Rita Moreno, and Lily Tomlin in the movie, rounded up her experience as “I was just awestruck.”

Next month, “80 For Brady” will premiere in theaters around the world. The movie follows four leading ladies, who are hardcore NFL fans, as they venture to Houston for 2017’s Super Bowl LI, the year quarterback Brady (who has signed a contract with Tampa Bay) led the New England Patriots to a victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

The film’s trailer sees the four elderly women try everything they can to get their way into Super Bowl Li. Some of these things include entering a eating competition and dancing with Billy Porter.

Other stars in the movie include Bob Balaban, Glynn Turman, Ron Funches, Jimmy O. Yang and Harry Hamlin. Brady stars in the Kyle Marvin-directed movie as himself, along with serving as one of its producers.
