Jane Fonda Opens Up About The Biggest Regret That She’s Had In Her Life

When you look at a person like Jane Fonda, it’s hard not to envy her. After all, she’s one of the most beautiful women in the entertainment industry and is also one that has been working for more than six decades.

That, and she also has a very youthful attitude when it comes to her health and her beauty, as she’s always set the standard on how to live like a star.

Not only that, but she’s one of the few Hollywood actresses her age that is still getting steady work. But even with all of that, Jane says that she still has one regret from the past that she’s had a hard time coming to terms with. Here’s what she has to say.

According to The Globe, Jane Fonda says that if she could turn back time, she would use that time to spend it more with her kids. The actress, who stars in the new movie, 80 For Brady, puts it this way, “I was not the kind of mother I wish I had been. I know what it’s supposed to be now, so I”m trying to show up now. I have great, great children—talented, smart. And I just didn’t know how to do it.”

As many of Jane’s fans know, she has two daughters, Vanessa Vadim, 54, and Mary Hayden, 55, and a son named Troy Hayden, 48. But because she had such a busy schedule while they were growing up, she wasn’t the hands on mother than she could have been, apparently.

What’s Next For Jane Fonda?

Jane also said that while it’s certainly easy to become a parent, it’s no easy learning how to parent, and she’s realized that over the years. She said, “I’ve studied parenting, and I know what it’s supposed to be now. I didn’t know then. So I’m trying to show up now.”

She continued, “But you can learn, so I studied how to be a parent. It’s never too late. I am trying to make up for what I didn’t know before. When I die, I want my family to be around me. I want them to love me, and I have to earn that. I’m still working at it.”
