Jennifer Aniston Admits that Being In A Relationship Is Necessary

You may know Jennifer Aniston as the lone wolf – the star who’s been comfortable remaining single since her split from ex Justin Theroux in 2018.

In general, Aniston is not one for relationships. Given her time in the spotlight, you can still count the number of relationships she’s had on one hand. But it doesn’t necessarily mean that she doesn’t want one or know that being in a relationship can bring you comfort when you find the right person to “support” you.

Jennifer Aniston – Says She’s Open To Dating But She Won’t Commit To Marriage

Jennifer Aniston, 53, opened her heart to Allure for their December cover story and chatted about how she’d approach any future relationships.

The “Friends” alum has been married twice: first to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and then to Justin Theroux, 2015 to 2018.

When asked whether she’s ever considered getting married again, Aniston said: “Never say never, but I don’t have any interest. I’d love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, ‘I need support.’ “

Jennifer Aniston Admits that Being In A Relationship Is Necessary

“It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody’s arms and say, ‘That was a tough day,’ “ she explained during another interview that saw her talk about her hair-care line Lolavie and infertility struggles.

Since she divorced Justin Theroux in 2018, Aniston has not publicly dated, even though she remains close friends with her ex-husband Theroux. According to Aniston, her two marriages, even though ending in divorces, were “very successful”.

“I feel like I’m coming through a period that was challenging and coming back into the light,” Aniston told Allure, noting that she has “had to do personal work that was long overdue, parts of me that hadn’t healed from the time I was a little kid.”

“I’ve realized you will always be working on stuff. I am a constant work in progress,” she added. “Thank God. How uninteresting would life be if we all achieved enlightenment and that was it?”

Aniston knew she would have to check a few boxes before she could allow any man to get closer to her, especially since her independent nature could complicate things in a relationship.

“It wouldn’t be fair,” she said in the interview. “I don’t want to move into a house when there are no walls.”

Jennifer Aniston – On Redecorating Her Space After Ex Justin Theroux Moved Out

During the interview, Aniston showed Allure a cottage she said was “90 percent windows”. It was also where she lived with ex Justin Theroux before their split in 2018.

“Welcome to the Babe Cave,” she told the outlet. “You can imagine he likes things black and dark.”

She then noted that she lightened it up after Theroux moved out – so much so that Theroux came round one time and was awed by how much the place has changed.
