Jennifer Aniston Says That Reuniting With Ex Brad Pitt Is Not “Awkward”
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt stole the internet’s interest when they reunited virtually during the September 17 premiere of Dane Cook Presents Feelin’ A-Live: A Virtual Table Read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High. If fans can recall, the two stars, who were married for nearly five years before their 2005 split, exchanged greetings at the vitual event and it immediately turned into a moment to dissect. The virtual reunion sparked rumors just like their backstage reunion months earlier at the 2020 SAG awards.
During a recent chat on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, the host broached the subject to the “Murder Mystery” star, asking, “Wasn’t that awkward for you?”
“No!” Aniston replied. “It was absolutely fun. You know, Brad and I are buddies. Like, we’re friends and we speak.”
“There’s no oddness at all,” she continued, “except for everyone that probably watched it and was wanting there to be.”
As Aniston acknowledged, fans are interested in learning details about her private life, even though she tries so hard to keep it out of the media.
Stern then tried to get some answers out of the actress regarding whether she’s met someone that she’s serious about. “I have not,” she said. “There has been nothing of great success thus far, but I’m of course open to it.”
Jennifer Aniston, 52, and her ex Justin Theroux, 49, announced their separation in 2017. Their split was amicable and they have remained on very friendly terms, even acknowledging that they talk to each other occasionally.
As for the kind of person likely to catch the heart of one of Hollywood’s most beloved stars, she’s into someone who is kind, fun, a generous spirit and, as you may have guessed from the comedy star, someone who has a sense of humor.
