Jennifer Aniston Becomes True ‘Friend’ Of Radio Intern!

But for one radio intern, Jennifer Aniston stands out as a gracious and giving exception to that tendency. The act of kindness took place after Jennifer’s bodyguard refused an interview for the actress, noted Page Six.

The radio intern who requested that interview now looks back with new appreciation for the actress’ kindness. And Joe Pardavila describes it all in his book, “Good Listen: Creating Memorable Conversations In Business And Life.” Now a podcast host and author, Pardavila recalls working as an intern at “Scott & Todd in the Morning” on 95.5 PLJ.

In 1997, Joe’s managers assigned him to find Jennifer on the set of “Picture Perfect” for an interview. But as the young intern found Aniston’s trailer in Manhattan on the film set, he got stopped. And her bodyguard “sensed what I was about to do. He made a beeline straight for me,” recalled the now-author. “Holding up my radio mic, I said in my most soothing and innocent tone, ‘Hey, I only want to ask Jennifer a couple of questions, that’s all.’ The guard let me know that wasn’t going to happen. His tone was neither soothing nor innocent.” But then Aniston saved the day.

After that bodyguard shooed off the radio intern like an unwanted stray cat, Jennifer Aniston came to his rescue. However, first she appeared in person to explain to the intern that she couldn’t talk at that time. And after she returned to her trailer, the embarrassed Pardavila headed back to the station without the coveted interview.

But just minutes later, ” Jennifer Aniston had her assistant call the front desk at PLJ to say Jennifer felt badly about what happened. Better yet, she’d be happy to do an interview with the morning show,” shared Pardavila. And Aniston took 20 minutes “to discuss her movie, her experience working on ‘Friends,’ and everything you’d want to talk about with Jennifer Aniston,” shared Joe.
