But for 12 years, Garner struggled with her marriage to Ben. And even after they split in 2017, Jennifer sought to help her ex-hubby. But observers noted that Garner skipped Affleck’s wedding to Jennifer Lopez. As a result, rumors swirled about the seeming snub. 

However, an insider shared that Garner missing out on the wedding means she decided to celebrate her freedom! As Affleck, 50, tied the knot with Lopez, 53, his former wife felt only happiness for her ex hubby. And she also feels relieved.

Now that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have begun their married life, Garner feels happy to let go of Ben. And that happiness reflects all the work that Jennifer did for years to take care of Ben throughout his alcohol problems. But now that he wed Lopez, any future alcohol troubles will become JLo’s, noted the insider.

“If he has another episode, or falls off the wagon, it would be [Jennifer Lopez’s] problem,” said the insider. “I’m sure she’s thrilled to get rid of her fourth child,” added the insider. However, Affleck’s and Garner’s children Violet, 16; Seraphina, 13; and Samuel, 10, did attend the ceremony making Ben and JLo husband and wife.

Meanwhile, Affleck’s 50-year-old ex-wife cheerfully shopped at a Sam’s Club in South Charleston, W. Va. And Garner made it a fun expedition with her father, William, and boyfriend, John Miller, a businessman. However, of course Jennifer still plans to spend lots of time with her children in the wake of Ben’s wedding.

Garner feels relieved to move on with her life and let go of responsibility for Ben. And after regarding Affleck as her fourth child, the actress can focus on her other children and her career. But Ben and Jen will always stay in touch in order to co-parent their children, noted one insider.

“Jen has always approached things the same, no matter who Ben has been with,” explained the source. “They have kids together.” And the insider emphasized Garner’s parenting skills. “Jen is a great mother, she has really mothered those kids. And it’s great that she doesn’t have to have a fourth child anymore,” added the insider, throwing shade at Ben Affleck. 

However, the source noted that Garner truly wanted her marriage to Affleck to succeed. For instance, “Jen grew up with her parents happily married and her sisters are married,” pointed out the insider. As a result, “she wanted it to work out. But she’s moved on.”
