Fans’ Reaction To The Throw-Back Picture
The picture caused a lot of drama as fans speculated the possible production and release of another season of Camping.
Since the picture was taken on the set of the HBO show, it quickly convinced fans that it was a hint that there were plans for the show’s return.
All About Camping
Camping was an American comedy television series based on the British series of the same name that was created by Julia Davis. Camping premiered on October 14, 2018, on HBO. The series was created by Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner, with Jennifer Garner playing the lead character Kathryn McSorley-Jodell.
Upon its release, the reception of the movie was a mixed reaction, slightly hanging toward the negative. On Rotten Tomatoes where the movie got a 27% approval rating, the website’s critical consensus reads, “The first season of Camping makes it difficult to determine who the least happy campers are: those on the screen or those watching it.”
Some people thought that the movie was a wasted potential, especially since it featured Jennifer Garner, whose charisma was not allowed to shine in the series due to the poor script writing.
Another reviewer stated that the one possible upside for the series is that Camping might inspire people to go camping themselves, just to get away from the show. Due to large negative ratings, the show was cancelled after one season.
News about Camping Heading Off The Screen
During an interview, Camping creator, Lena Dunham, sadly stated that there wasn’t much chance of renewing the series for another season when she was interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter in 2018.
When questioned about writing more episodes, she said: “I think we’ve really told the story,” but then her co-creator, Jenni Konner, resolutely said, “I don’t know if we have a story left to tell, but of course I would always be open to it.”
Jennifer Garner’s Newest Project
Garner is currently working on a new project with Mark Buffalo and posted a reunion picture featuring just the two of them together, 16 years after they starred in 13 Going on 30 together.
The Adam Project is currently filming in Vancouver, and the co-stars, who also happen to be very good friends, smiled widely in their picture.
“Wishing dust worked!” Garner captioned the picture of the happy moment, “And I got a perfect day with my old pal.”
