Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Want To Put Their Kids First Amid Marriage Troubles

According to sources, the atmosphere in Affleck and Lopez‘s marriage is all but a jolly one. Some say the couple are no longer living together, some say they disagree a lot on their finances, and others are suggesting the couple want to work through their differences one step at a time.

Even amid all these problems and their crazy work schedules that’s pulling them in different directions – Affleck’s filming ‘Accountant 2’ and Lopez is preparing to go on tour – the couple continue to be “very family-oriented.”

Even though Lopez and Affleck are said to be swimming in troubled waters these days, Lopez did not neglect her duty as a step-parent to Affleck’s children and was there to see his daughter Violet’s graduation on Thursday, May 30.

This recent public reunion comes after the couple were seen together in public for the first time in as many months on May 19 for another school event. In fact, the reunion came shortly after a source claimed that the couple are likely heading towards a divorce.

However, despite this strain, Lopez and Affleck “still want to put the kids first,” and while the situation of their marriage is said to be devastating for the ‘Atlas’ star, “the graduation was a big deal” and she “wanted to celebrate it” regardless of everything.

Lopez married the ‘Justice League’ star in 2022 after they rekindled their romance a year prior. At the time, Lopez was just out of a whirlwind romance with Alex Rodriguez. Months after reviving their romance, the pair got engaged for the second time and actually managed to tie the knot this time.

While fans were skeptical about how long Bennifer 2.0 would last, Lopez was basking in the reality of her second chance romance and described how special it was to her in several interviews.

She also went on to release an album, ‘This Is Me… Now,’ that was said to draw heavily on her second-chance romance with Affleck.

To make it as personal as possible, Lopez reportedly let her team of writers read the love letters Affleck had previously written for her back when they met and fell in love for the first time.

The ‘Hypnotico’ singer followed this up with a documentary that also explored her romance with Affleck, something Affleck openly admitted he wasn’t a fan of.

This seems to go against Lopez’s promise in February 2022 to always keep her and Affleck’s romance “sacred.”

“I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that’s happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that, it really does. … We hold it sacred,” the songstress said at the time.
