Jennifer Lopez And BFF Leah Remini Reconcile After Falling Out In 2022 Over Ben Affleck

This is not the regular feud where female besties fall out over a guy they both like, nope. The fallout between the star of “The Mother” Jennifer Lopez, and her BFF Leah Remini is a different case in that the “Saved By The Bell” actress was trying to stop her bestie from repeating the same mistake twice.

Lopez and Remini met and became BFFs in 2004. Remini knew all about Lopez’ past relationship with “Batman” actor Ben Affleck.

The “Old School” actress knew how her bestie and Affleck first got engaged in 2002 only to break up few days to their wedding in 2003. It happened that several years later when the “Marry Me” actress and the “Goodwill Hunting” actor rekindled their love, Remini was completely against it.

At the time, an insider told Radar Online, “Leah was there for Jen when Ben broke her heart. Leah knows everything, all the ugly details about what went down between her best friend and Ben. No wonder she doesn’t like him. Jennifer might have been ready to move on and forgive Ben, but Leah hasn’t and is worried it will happen again.”

When Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in 2022, Remini’s absence was felt. And although TMZ reported that Remini was helping her 18-year-old daughter, Sofia, get ready to head off to college, that year, news of how the two were feuding over Affleck had already made rounds.

A source close to Remini told “Page Six” that the reason Lopez, 54, and Remini, 53, were feuding was because she didn’t want to see Lopez get her heart broken by the same man twice.

According to the source, Remini was against Lopez marrying Affleck, “he is selfish and is not fully committed as a partner.” Upon hearing how her bestie felt about her soon-to-be husband then, “J.Lo was so mad, she cut off all ties.”

For some weeks now, the Internet has been buzzing with rumors that there is trouble in the marriage of the “Atlas” actress and the “Daredevil” actor.

It got to the extent that media outlets reported that Lopez and Affleck were living separately. Following the incessant rumors, rather than gloat and scream stuff like, ‘Told ya, Ha!,’ Remini reached out to Lopez to offer her friend support.

The reunion happened after it was announced on Friday that Lopez canceled her “This Is Me… Live” summer tour to “be with her children, family and close friends.” Lopez and Remini were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles on Friday.
