Ben Affleck’s sad, grumpy face has spawned a million memes. And now his wife Jennifer Lopez has reacted to all those photos showing her hubby alternatively looking unhappy, grouchy, or even bored.

Jennifer Lopez Denies Ben Affleck’s Sad Face

Ben Affleck continually gets photographed appearing sad and grumpy. And now his wife Jennifer Lopez has reacted to all those photos that keep going viral via Us.

But the songstress, 54, used her spotlight at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards to giggle at Affleck appearing sad in some photos with Lopez. And amid her laughter, Jennifer admitted, “I don’t know.”

However, then she defended her hubby. And Lopez shared, “Ben is doing all right. You don’t need to worry about Ben. Let me just tell you, he is good. He is happy, he is here, he is nominated.”

Ben Affleck Just ‘Chilling’

And Jennifer revealed how Ben has responded to all those viral photos showing him appear sad or grumpy. But she denied that the pics mean that Affleck feels unhappy or grumpy. And Jennifer shared that Ben feels relaxed in those pics.

However, Lopez also revealed Ben’s response to all the memes about his sad face. “He is like, ‘I’m chilling. I don’t understand what people are pressed for. They don’t pick up on my face’.”

Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021. And they tied the knot in 2022 two decades after they first met. The two appeared at the Golden Globes recently to support Affleck’s 2023 movie Air. And Ben appeared with his costar Matt Damon to present the award for best director of a motion picture to Christopher Nolan for Oppenheimer.

But Jennifer has discussed all the attention on Ben’s facial expressions before. And last year, Lopez posted a pic of Affleck on Instagram with a caption that proclaimed, “My husband’s happy face.” That caption referenced all the attention that went to Ben’s appearance at last year’s Grammy Awards.

And Affleck went viral for looking increasingly bored throughout the evening. However, the difference between Jennifer and Ben also showed when Lopez met Brie Larson for the first time amid the Golden Globe Awards pre-show festivities.

And their conversation went viral as Brie, 34, got emotional when she discovered that Jennifer had come up to talk to her. Larson confessed, “I saw Selena. And it made me want to be an actor. You’ve always meant so much to me,” she admitted to Lopez about her 1997 film. And Jennifer looked just as thrilled, gushing, “Oh my God, don’t make me cry.”
