Jennifer Lopez Reveals The Movies She Regrets Doing

Jennifer Lopez is literally a living proof that second chance love stories are more than just something we encounter in stories. Nearly twenty years after she and Affleck were originally engaged, they got married, and it’s been the happiest times for the couple since then.

To commemorate their happy marriage, Jennifer Lopez will be releasing an album called “This Is Me… Now”, twenty years after “This Is Me… Then”.

According to the singer-songwriter, actress, and businesswoman, her new phase is “all about love”, and Affleck. Let’s not forget Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez Would Love To Star In the Sequel Of Her And Affleck’s 2003 Movie “Gigli”

Answering Vogue’s 73 questions, the star touched on some of the movies she’s previously starred in.

She named her 2006 biopic “El Cantante” – a movie she starred in with her ex-husband Marc Jacobs – as her most underrated movie.

Along the line, she also said that she would love to revisit 2003’s “Gigli”, which she starred in alongside Ben Affleck, even though it critically panned at the time.

“Who has made you laugh the most between takes?” Sabia, the interviewer, asked. Lopez, 53, responded, “My husband, Ben.”

Lopez also revealed that she later regretted her decision to turn down the 2002 thriller “Unfaithful”, starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane. 2019’s “Hustlers”, unsurprisingly, was the most challenging movie she’s ever made.

What’s “Gigli” – the 2003 Movie Starring Jennifer Lopez And “Daredevil” Star Affleck

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s love story is not something that started today, and it’s not only happening offscreen.

“Gigli” is a crime comedy, written and directed by Martin Brest and starring Justin Bartha and Christopher Walken. Affleck played the role of Larry Gigli, a man hired to kidnap someone. He enlists the help of Ricki (played by Lopez), who accompanies him to make sure he gets the job done.

Despite the comedy and the drama, the movie was not well-received by both the audience and the critics.

In January, Affleck, 50, reflected on the movie and how people want something more from it, despite it not being well-received when it was released.

“The truth about that movie and what it taught me was how much everything around a movie sort of dictates the way people see it,” he said.

“But for being a movie that’s such a famous bomb and a disaster, very few people actually saw the movie. It doesn’t work, by the way. It’s a sort of horse’s head in a cow’s body. And the studio at the time, because I had begun having this relationship with Jennifer Lopez, which was selling a lot of magazines and appeared to generate a lot of enthusiasm, they just predictably latched onto, ‘They want a romantic comedy. They want the two of them together. More of that!’ “
