Jennifer Lopez’s New Alcohol Brand Slammed – Is She Not Thinking Of Ben Affleck’s Sobriety?

Jennifer Lopez is being slammed for launching her own alcohol brand named Delola. And that’s not because it’s not a good product, but because Jennifer herself is not a drinker and her husband Ben Affleck is a recovering alcoholic. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

While promoting the drink on Instagram, Jennifer can be heard saying, “I have been grinding non-stop for decades, and more and more I’m realizing the importance of enjoying life.”

Needless to say, many critics did react to the news and were confused as to why Jennifer would have her own alcohol brand seeing how her husband Ben Affleck is a recovering alcoholic.

Some comments included, “She should have considered her husband’s recovery first and foremost. She doesn’t care about the people who make it or the people who will be drinking it, so just how much more money do you want?” along with, “Isn’t Ben a recovering alcoholic?! He’ll be sneaking these drinks around the house of she isn’t careful…she’s not such a bright bulb.”

Another critic wrote, “That Jen – always planning ahead! When Ben falls off the wagon again, JHo thinks that she will at least make money off it, by pimping this unneeded alcoholic drink for Ben to swig down.”

Just recently Ben himself admitted that he was miserable and drinking heavily while he was filming Justice League. He told the Hollywood Reporter, “There was an idea of someone [Whedon] coming in, like, ‘I’ll rescue you and we’ll do 60 days of shooting and I’ll write a whole thing around what you have. I’ve got the secret.’ And it wasn’t the secret. That was hard. I started to drink too much. I was back at the hotel in London, it was either that or jump out the window. And I just thought, ‘This isn’t the life I want. My kids aren’t here. I’m miserable.’”
