Jerry O’Connell doesn’t look ready to stop calling out John Stamos for including a personal story about his wife Rebecca Romijn – John Stamos’ ex – in his memoir.
If it’s a hill, O’Connell is prepared to die on it. One thing’s clear, Stamos shouldn’t have “bummed out” his wife by writing negative things about her in his memoir, “If You Would Have Told Me.”
Jerry O’Connell Calls John Stamos’ Stories in “If You Would Have Told Me” “Betrayal”
Speaking to TMZ Live on Friday, O’Connell continued to criticize his wife Rebecca Romijn’s ex-husband, John Stamos.
In his latest rant, he insisted that he would never have come forward with such negative stories about anyone, let alone about an ex, and called what Stamos did betrayal.
The 49-year-old “Pictionary” host also revealed that Romijn was “bummed out” when she discovered the negative stories Stamos had told regarding their marriage in his book.
Earlier this week, O’Connell claimed that the stories were “a little scary,” but archly noted that “people gotta make a living I guess, it just happens.”
The worst of it all was that neither he nor his wife were given any heads-up about the contents of the book.
“We found out just like everyone else,” he told “Access Hollywood” at the time.
At first, O’Connell claimed he and his wife had no business reading the memoir and don’t plan to, but it seems they didn’t make good on this resolution and found out that Stamos accused her of many bad behaviors in his book.
What John Stamos Said About Marriage To Rebecca Romijn In His Memoir
In his memoir, the “Full” House alum accused Romijn of treating him badly when they were married.
“She implies, sometimes subtly and sometimes openly, that I’m not smart enough for her and her entourage of ass-kissers,” he wrote.
He also accused her of being unfaithful to him.
“Betrayal starts as a sinking feeling in your stomach, grows into a suspicion that clouds your every thought, and by the time you find out the truth, it’s uniquely horrible at first but also expected, like you’ve been waiting for something bad to happen,” he wrote.
Stamos is now married to Caitlin McHugh. However, whilst promoting his book he recalled thinking Romijn was the “devil” when she divorced him.
