Jessica Simpson Dresses To Impress Instagram, But Slurred Words Spark Worries!

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson has developed a loyal Instagram following. But when the actress/singer/fashion designer appeared in a social media ad, those followers began to worry rather than admire the fan favorite. Though Jessica looked gorgeous, her slurred words sparked a flood of rumors.

Find out how Simpson’s Instagram post went viral for all the wrong reasons. And see why her followers feel so concerned. Get the latest news about Jessica Simpson below.

Jessica Simpson – ‘Painful To Watch,’ Say Fans

Social media followers of Jessica Simpson reacted with horror when the singer shared an allergy relief nasal spray ad in her Instagram Stories. Simpson, 41, seemed to fidget as she slurred her words in the Flonase ad video, noted Page Six. And she seemed to struggle even reading directly from a script.

Waving her hand randomly, Jessica told the camera, “Hey, guys. Climate change is impossible to ignore, especially for my friends in LA — we know. So many of us were affected by the wildfires a few years back, and now rising temperatures are always in the back of our minds,” added the fashion designer, smiling crookedly.

But her alternating attempts to remember her lines while smiling made fans suspect something seemed wrong. And as Jessica discussed “some of the other effects of rising temperatures affecting us right now,” that grin seemed to clash with her words. For instance, Simpson referred to “invisible monsters” like “increased pollen count and the longer, harsher allergy seasons” while beaming at the camera.

Jessica Simpson – Fans Call Her Instagram Ad ‘Awful’

Celebrities often hype products in return for money. But most stars have learned how to appear believable in their social media ads. In contrast, Jessica Simpson’s attempts to read from the script while starring at the camera, moving her hand around AND smiling turned into a catastrophe. And that led to fans ranging from bewilderment to bashing.

Simpson co-parents daughters Maxwell, 9, and Birdie, 3, and son Ace, 8, with her husband Eric Johnson. And so she tossed in an ad for a children’s version of the spray. But while Jessica tried to seem honest about using the product for years, fans struggled with her performance.

For instance, one fan responded, “Painful to watch and sadly I love her.” And another addressed the company. “Flonase please hire a professional,” pleaded the critic. “That was embarrassing to watch.”

So did Jessica get any praise? Well, some admired her attempt to dress for success. But given the performance, most just focused on bemoaning her problems. And some seemed to feel truly worried about Simpson’s health.

“Damn either hold the cue cards at eye level next time or have her memorize the script next time. This was awful,” reacted one blunt commentator. “Hope you are ok, you seem to be on something, definitely odd behavior,” noted one critic.

And another offered kudos for her clothes while questioning her performance. “The photo looks ok. The stories are… questionable. Eyes everywhere. Fidgety movements,” summed up a fan.
