Joe Jonas Is Doing the “Right Thing” After Reaching Temporary Custody Agreement With Sophie Turner

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are putting aside their differences in order to be the best co-parents to their children they can be.

Divorces are never easy, especially on children, and the former couple are looking forward to doing what’s best for their very young daughters so that this transition will be a little bit less scary for them. Glad to see that some couples still remember to put the kids first.

Just three days after it was announced that Jonas and Turner have reached a temporary custody agreement on who would be with the kids for the rest of the year, Page Six reported that the singer has dismissed his divorce case in Miami, apparently choosing to settle things outside of the court system.

Jonas made the decision after his various talks with Turner yielded positive results and he was assured that they would reach an “amicable resolution to all issues.”

“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the U.K.,” Jonas and Turner shared in a statement after the news of their custody agreement became public. “We look forward to being great co-parents.”

The next day Jonas shared a post about doing “doing the right thing” with fans on Instagram. The snap showed him posing in front of a mirror with the inspirational message, “I am at the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing.”

Last month, the internet shook with news that Jonas filed to divorce Turner in a Miami court. Not only that, the drama escalated when Turner revealed she learned about the divorce through media sources.

She then went on to file a case for the immediate return of their daughters and her own divorce petition in the UK.

At the moment, no one knows the status of the petition, especially since Jonas has cancelled his to pursue an out of court settlement.
