Joe Jonas Playfully Roasts His Flat-Ironed Hair Era

Joe Jonas Playfully Roasts His Flat-Ironed Hair EraJoe Jonas has had quite the hair journey over the years, but the pop star isn’t a fan of all his past looks. During an interview with comedian Hannah Berner on TikTok, the 34-year-old Jonas Brothers and DNCE member opened up about his hair transformations.

He revealed that his “least favorite hairdo” was his 2008-era flat-ironed straight hair. “There was a phase where I felt like I needed to flat-iron my hair,” the “Work It Out” singer confessed.

Joe Jonas’s  – Shares His Hair Influence

When Berner asked who influenced his decision to straighten his hair, Jonas quipped, “Just being a teen pop star.” He admitted that achieving the look required a team effort, joking that his brother Kevin was better at it than he was.

Berner also inquired about Jonas’s hair care routine, specifically if he used conditioner. He humorously replied, “Just on the back,” before clarifying that he doesn’t use conditioner because it makes his hair feel too slick.

These days, Jonas wears his curls au naturel – though it’s not quite as out of control as it was when his hair debuted him on to the music scene – but, he complained via TikTok in 2021, he’d lost what had once been one of the most celebrated hairdos in Hollywood. “When I was 13, I had arguably one of the most recognizable heads of hair in the world at the time,” he said.

Jonas’s – Fashion Sense Beyond His Hair Style

Jonas’s self-awareness extends beyond his hair. He recently proved he can laugh at himself when it comes to his fashion sense. In May, he attended the Cannes Film Festival wearing an all-white suit with a Western-style bow tie.

A fan account pointed out that his outfit resembled that of Colonel Sanders from KFC. Instead of ignoring the comparison, Jonas embraced it by sharing the meme on his Instagram Stories.

Despite his playful attitude towards his past style choices, Jonas is serious about his music. He is set to release his first solo album in 13 years, “Music For People Who Believe in Love,” on Friday, Oct. 18.

Jonas’s hair has seen various styles over the years, from his straight-pressed locks during his “Camp Rock” days to long, curly, and even a mohawk. He has also experimented with bold hair colors, including blond and highlights in red and pink.

Jonas’s ability to reflect on his past with humor and grace makes him a relatable figure. His willingness to poke fun at his old looks while embracing his natural style today shows his growth both as an artist and a person.
