Promoting Blunt’s New Film, Schumer Joked About The Couple’s Marriage Being A Sham For Publicity

Schumer recently took to Instagram to post an image from the new film A Quiet Place Part II, which stars Blunt and is directed by Krasinski, encouraging fans to head to a movie theatre to check it out.

In the caption, the 39-year-old comedian joked about the couple’s relationship, writing, “I loved every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one which blew me away. Amazing to be in a movie theater!!”

She added, “And although I’ve said for a long time I think Emily and John have a pretend marriage for publicity. But I still think you should see it this rainy weekend.”

The light-hearted post which was poking fun at the fact that Krasinki had directed his wife in the film, was received with a sense of humour, with the 41-year-old Jack Ryan actor  himself replying, “Thank you Amy!… for blowing up our whole marriage spot.”

Emily Blunt And John Krasinki Weren’t The Only Ones Who Were The Targets Of Amy Schumer’s Unique Way Of Promoting Her Friends’ Films

Blunt and Krasinski weren’t the only ones who were on the receiving end of Schumer’s joking commentary, with sharing on Instagram Story about the Cruella film, “It’s well known Emma stone is a toxic person but @Disney Cruella is amazing!!”

Given that Schumer and Stone are good friends, it’s clear that the latter was once again kidding around.
