But soon after Johnny’s first message, his adversary Amber responded. Find out what Depp wrote on TikTok. And see how the 36-year-old actress reacted below.
Johnny Depp – Creates First TikTok Post
Prior to his defamation trial against Amber Heard, Johnny Depp did not even maintain a TikTok platform. But fans flocked to TikTok to support Johnny throughout his lawsuit. And Depp took notice. As a result, within hours after winning his victory, the actor created a TikTok presence.
Thousands flocked to follow Johnny. And now Depp has crafted his first post. Emotionally, the actor thanked his followers and expressed gratitude. But he also expressed his wishes to look ahead rather than dwell on the trial, noted Page Six.
“We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together,” wrote the “Pirates Of The Caribbean” actor. “We have walked the same road together.” And he emphasized, “We did the right thing together, all because you cared.” Hinting that he wanted his fans to stop re-hashing the trial, Depp added, “And now, we will all move forward together. You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD.”
Amber Heard – Reacts To Johnny Depp TikTok Post
But within minutes, Amber Heard responded to Johnny Depp’s TikTok post. And through a spokesperson, Amber addressed Depp’s claim about moving ahead. Heard translated her remarks as representing the women’s rights movement.
“As Johnny Depp says he’s ‘moving forward,’ women’s rights are moving backward,” said the actress’ spokesperson. “The verdict’s message to victims of domestic violence is … be afraid to stand up and speak out.” Heard’s reaction followed her comments about women’s rights after losing to Depp. “The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence and sway of my ex-husband,” added Amber.
Twitter promptly responded to Heard’s comments. And just as social media did throughout the trial, the court of public opinion weighed in against the actress. For instance, one Depp fan wrote, “So [Amber Heard] makes a comment 41 mins after [ohnny Depp] posted a TikTok video 4 hours ago. 1. cuz she has to have the last word, and 2. She can’t and won’t leave him alone although SHE “claimed” at trial SHE just wanted him to leave her alone…” More than 4,000 individuals “liked” that post.
