Bring out the band. In the wake of his Amber Heard trial triumph, Johnny Depp will travel in Europe with his Hollywood Vampires band. And get ready for the name-dropping to commence. For instance, Alice Cooper numbers among the members of the famous group, noted Variety.

Along with Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen, Depp had to cancel a March tour as a result of COVID-19. “We kept trying to make it happen,” shared the Hollywood Vampires during the pandemic. “But unfortunately due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 travel restrictions, it is just not possible.”

However, the new announcement reveals that Johnny’s group has gone from lamenting the pandemic to planning a tour. In all, six shows will take place. And the tour will begin next June at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen, Germany.  Depp plans to participate in the final show next June 30 at Zitadelle in Mainz, Germany.

However, fans hoping to hear Depp perform live don’t have to wait until next June. Together with Jeff Beck, Johnny has performed on live shows. And he even headed to Europe to star with his guitarist pal before the Amber Heard trial wrapped up. In the wake of that verdict, Depp has toured with Beck.

But in addition to touring until the the final show on July 25 in Paris. Johnny and Jeff have worked on their album, “18.” And fans can mark their calendars for July 15. Beck and Depp will drop their project on that date. They previously released their single, “This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr.”

That song honors actress Hedy Lamarr. Penned by Depp, the song marks one of two that the actor penned. The other song, “Sad Motherf**kin’ Parade,” will highlight the upcoming album. And while Johnny sings some of the songs on the album, others focus on instrumental offerings.

As a result of their achievements, Beck praised his collaborator’s skills. And he described himself as “blown away” with Johnny’s “Hedy Lamarr” song. After hearing the lyrics and tune, Beck added, “That song is one of the reasons I asked him to make an album with me.”
