Johnny Depp Shares Personal Picture On Instagram As SAG-AFTRA Strike Draws To A Close

It’s been over 110 days since the actors’ union went on strike, and a few days ago, they reached a tentative deal to end it.

Depp, who last posted on Instagram on July 20, returned to the platform with a heartwarming post that saw him thank the team behind his company’s new movie, “Modi” – a biographical drama based on the life of famed Italian artist and sculptor Amedeo Modigliani.

“To my dear ‘Modi’ film family, Köszönöm [transl. “Thanks” in Hungarian] for all your exceptional efforts without which this film could not have been made.

Please accept my eternal admiration, appreciation, respect and love, JD. X,” he captioned a photograph of himself, taken on the set of the project. In the picture, he is dressed in a plaid shirt, jeans, a beanie, and sunglasses.

The film boasts an impressive cast that includes Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio, Bruno Gouery, Luisa Ranieri, Stephen Graham, Ryan McParland, Benjamin Lavernhe, Sally Phillips, and Al Pacino.

The last onscreen project Johnny Depp appeared in before the strike was “Jeanne Du Barry,” a French language film that explores a pivotal period in France’s monarchy, with Depp stepping into the role of King Louis.

Whereas Depp is doing his best to revive his Hollywood career, Amber Heard quietly moved to Spain to raise her daughter away from all the noise her and Depp’s defamation case gave birth to.

Her fate and screen time in DC’s upcoming “Aquaman” has been subject to speculations after the movie’s trailer dropped.

However a close friend assured fans that she’s “living her best life in Spain with her daughter and just finding happiness in that way.”
