And the busy actor took time to issue his caution in an Instagram Story. But in the process, Johnny also shared his Facebook, TikTok, and even Discord personal accounts!

Beware, social media fans of Johnny Depp! Because attempts at scamming the actor’s followers have soared, Depp turned to Instagram to issue a warning. And in his Instagram Story, Johnny explained why he worries about his fans’ safety on social media, noted MSN.

Some social media trolls have attempted to disguise themselves as Depp. And they have contacted his fans in that guise. As a result, Johnny told his fans that he feels concerned about them. And he cautioned them about fake accounts that might try to scam his followers.

“I ask that you remain cautious as it seems these fake accounts can be relentless,” pointed out Depp. “My team is working to combat the problem. I’ve been made aware that there are fake accounts pretending to be me or people working with me. I do not have any private or side accounts on any platforms.”

Because Depp feels so concerned, he took time to share all of his personal social media account names. And he emphasized, “These are the only pages run by me and my team where we share updates and communicate. INSTAGRAM @Johnny Depp TIKTOK @Johnny Depp FACEBOOK @Johnny Depp DISCORD @Johnny Depp0854.”

But Johnny also took time to express his appreciation to his followers. “Thank you for your continued support and for making me aware of this issue,” he added politely. As for specifics on those different pages, Depp previously used the Discord username for fan communications. But that use began before his fame soared as a result of his trial against Amber Heard.

Through it all, Johnny has repeatedly shared his appreciation for his fans. For instance, after he won against Amber, the actor wrote, “To all of my most treasured, loyal and unwavering supporters. We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together. We have walked the same road together.” And he concluded, “We did the right thing together, all because you cared.”
