As Howard Stern Would Ask, Who Wins In A Case Like This?
Amber Heard’s Team Said Johnny Depp’s Team Wanted to “Maliciously Imply” That Ms. Heard Was Once An Escort
Something from the past is biting Amber Heard in the butt, and her team is claiming that Depp’s team helped to get the rumors started. If you thought what you heard in court was dramatic, wait until you hear the claims that didn’t make it into the courtroom.
Over the weekend, thousands of pages of filings from months of proceedings became unsealed, showing what attorneys on both sides tried to bring into court, but were refused.
One of the more shocking details from the pre-trial documents was the one where Depp’s lawyers wanted to bring up Heard’s past job as an exotic dancer in court – with several nude pictures to back up the claim.
The “Aquaman” Actress’s Lawyers Said That Depp Meant To “Maliciously” Suggest She Had Been An Escort.
The news was made public by the New York Post and the Daily Beast, as they revealed there were court documents of Depp’s team trying to submit “nude pictures” of Heard. Per Heard’s team, evidence of “Amber’s brief stint as an exotic dancer years before she met Mr. Depp” was meant to “frivolously and maliciously suggest or imply that Ms. Heard was at one time an escort.”
For those who followed up on the lawsuit, you’d remember that Heard’s lawyers said in their March filing that it wasn’t right to bring up the “irrelevant personal matters” during the trial, which was live-streamed and televised to the viewing of millions around the world.
Amber Heard’s Team Blames “Court Errors” For Depriving Heard Of A “Just And Fair Verdict”
Last month, Judge Penny Azcarate denied Heard’s bid to throw out the jury’s verdict and start the case all over again from scratch. Since then, she has begun her appeal process, with her team writing: “While we realize today’s filing will ignite the Twitter bonfires, there are steps we need to take to ensure both fairness and justice. We believe the court made errors that prevented a just and fair verdict consistent with the First Amendment.”

How about reporting the entire thing? Like how they only wanted to use those pictures to prove that she’s a lying individual and to show that there were no bruises on her body like she stated there were? I’m sure being that this was a court of law anything that exposed body parts that should not be exposed would be covered or blurred out. I seriously doubt she’s that modest or she would never take pictures like that period. The pictures they wanted to show were from a professional photo shoot that she did on the Bahamas . Get off the bandwagon and do real reporting.
