While discussing the logistics that went into discrediting Amber Heard in front of the jury and the public, Chew said: “Halfway through the case we were worried about Amber, because during the disposition there were times, there were moments, when she came across as credible.”

He added that they then needed the help of a professional to explain why someone as “presentable” as Amber Heard would be making all those “horrific stories” of abuse by Depp up.

The documentary then cuts to show viewers the time psychologist Shannon Curry came into the courtoom and revealed that she diagnosed Heard of borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder.

In June, a jury found that Heard had indeed defamed Depp and awarded him $10m in compensatory damages and $5m in punitive damages. Heard tried to dismiss the verdict immediately after but was denied by the presiding judge, Penny Azcarate.
