Judge Orders Kevin Costner’s Estranged Wife To Vacate His Property By End Of Month

It is one thing to divorce someone, and it is another to refuse to vacate their house after filing for said divorce. Even though Kevin Costner‘s wife, Christine, signed a prenup that stated she would leave his house within thirty days if she ever filed for divorce, the actor has confirmed that she insists on staying put.

And not just that, she’s reportedly demanding for more money than the prenup makes her entitled to, even though Costner says he’s added a couple millions just to appease her.

What else can he do but order her to vacate? Here’s the lowdown on what is set to be another one of those messy celebrity divorce battles.

However, the “Yellowstone” star thinks she inflated the monthly child support payments she’s requesting and refuses to comply. And this is how we find ourselves with a divorce filing and a woman who refuses to leave her estranged husband’s house even after pushing the divorce button.

On Wednesday, it was reported that the couple met for a case-management conference amid their divorce proceedings. Christine arrived at the hearing in a limo, while Costner attended virtually via Zoom. At the conference, Judge Thomas Anderele denied Christine’s request to stay in the house until August, and instead told her to vacate the property by the end of the month, Fox News reports.

In the obtained court documents, we learned that Costner’s legal team claimed that Christine allegedly “grasps at straws with one baseless argument after another,” as to why she should be allowed to stay in his Santa Barbara home.

Costner, 68, “respectfully requests that Christine be ordered to vacate his separate property residence forthwith and no later than July 13, 2023,” the document stressed.

Costner purchased the property in 1988, before getting married to Christine, but according to her, Costner’s claims that she didn’t want to vacate the property were simply not true, as she is planning on leaving in August once her requests are met.
