Julia just (literally) did it again in terms of trying to channel Kanye’s estranged wife Kim Kardashian! But this time, Fox committed a fashion faux pas that’s gotten jeers rather than her hoped-for cheers.

Julia Fox Channels Kim Kardashian? Well, Maybe!

Kim Kardashian famously put on a variety of chest molds last November to hype her KKW Fragrance Opals Collection. But the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” (KUWTK) star crafted her version in stone with help from Studio Silius. As a result, Kim’s breastplates looked more like art than a Halloween-like attempt at attire, pointed out Page Six.

And then Julia Fox stepped up to the breastplate challenge. But after succeeding in previously channeling Kim through silver boots and tongue-touching lip-locks with Kanye, Fox fumbled with a not-so-fabulous fashion faux pas. As a result of that drippy, trippy breastplate, Twitter came through with two types of criticism.

First, some mocked Julia for trying (and failing) to copy Kim. For instance, one critic wrote, “How embarrassing to keep copying someone!” But others jeered at the descriptions of Fox as sporting anything resembling quality fashion. Or as one Twitter commentator tweeted, “High fashion? Does that mean you have to be really high to think this looks good?!”

But Kanye West’s girlfriend just proved that she will not maintain a dignified silence about those Kim Kardashian copycat claims. As a result of those references to channeling the reality TV star, Julia Fox headed to her Instagram Stories, per Yahoo. And she clapped back in two ways.

First, Julia attacked those daring to claim Kim wore the breastplate before her. And she insisted that she had actually donned that trippy, drippy blue breastplate for Halloween 2021. Why didn’t any photos of Fox appear in a breastplate? Julia answered critics by insisting she forgot to post pics. Oops. 

Second, Fox attacked in general all those referring to her as channeling Kardashian. But she got shady in that second response. “FYI I wore this on Halloween 2021,” wrote Julia. “And I was supposed to be a slutty Smurf.”
