Julia Fox Reveals Being Blindsided By This In Her Relationship With Kanye West

When it comes to one of the things Julia Fox regrets the most, you’d pretty find dating Kanye West among the top of the list. I know it’s surprising given that they only dated for a short while before everything was laid to rest by a very non dramatic breakup, but she’d no doubt like to erase that period in her life if there was a way.

One of the reasons why is that she felt like a pawn in the whole thing, and you can already guess why feeling that way can make her a bit resentful about it.

Kanye West was fresh off from a highly publicized divorce from Kim Kardashian when he became romantically linked to Julia Fox.

It was early 2022 and their romance was the stuff of legends, given how hard it was for Kanye to actually accept his divorce from Kim Kardashian, or that he hadn’t entirely outgrown badmouthing any new man she’s linked with.

Speaking on it with The Times in an interview published Saturday, Oct. 12, she described feeling “regret” over her romance with the Donda rapper.

“I regret that relationship so much,” Fox said of West, 47, whom she described as “the artist” in her 2023 memoir “Down the Drain.”

“I hate it! It was only a few weeks but enough to last me a lifetime,” she added. “I was in probably the most uncomfortable position in my life and that’s saying a lot. I don’t want to be known for being anyone’s girlfriend.”

Julia Fox Reveals Reason She Decided To End Things With Kanye West

Apart from the way the relationship made her feel at the time, Fox also described feeling like she was being used as a “pawn” to get back to Kanye’s ex Kim Kardashian.

She said she hadn’t approved of the relationship going public when it did, and had even suggested that they “should wait.” However, the next thing she knew it was all over the internet. “Boom, it was done behind my back,” she recalled.

“I realized pretty quickly I was being used as a pawn,” she said.

At the time, being mom to now 3-year-old son, Valentino, helped her to put her priorities in order. “It was like, I can’t go down this spiral because no man, no matter how rich or famous, is worth one minute away from my child,” she shared.
