When Justin and Hailey Bieber tied the knot more than five years ago, fans were convinced that it would not last long, as many saw then-Hailey Baldwin as Justin’s second choice to his longtime flame Selena Gomez.

Well, turns out fans aren’t the only ones amazed that it’s lasted this long, close family members reportedly are thinking the same.

According to a close source, Justin, 29, and Hailey, 27, are at a breaking point in their relationship, and to be able to navigate these uncertain times, Justin may have to address certain issues in their marriage.

“Justin is clingy and he relies on her so much for his emotional and psychological wellbeing,” shared the source. “There are times Hailey just wants to end it so she can be on her own again.”

From old love disputes to disagreements about when to have children, the source added, “they’ve had a lot of ups and downs. Friends are surprised they’ve lasted this long.”

Their marriage in September 2018 gave birth to a lot of controversies at the time, since the “Baby” singer was recently with Selena Gomez three months prior to announcing his engagement to Hailey. However, the couple did date briefly in 2015.

The source claimed that the stars didn’t know what they were getting into when they tied the knot, but since then, they’ve both had some growing up to do, Hailey more than Justin.

“Hailey’s grown into a strong individual,” the insider revealed. “As a model, she’s learned how to deal with stress, whereas Justin has been babied his whole life. Hailey sees him as an immature kid at times.”

On this issue, the source revealed, “He wants to be a young dad. But Hailey isn’t sure Justin has the maturity to deal with parenthood just yet and she doesn’t want to be left doing all the work because he’s too immature.”

Fortunately, it isn’t yet over for one of Hollywood’s power couple, because Hailey isn’t ready to quit on the marriage yet, and Justin can’t imagine life without Hailey.
