Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas walked the red carpet as a couple during the MTV Movie & TV Awards on May 16. The couple made their relationship official in January but it was the first time they graced the event as a couple.

The 44-year-old actor, Hartley, wore a white top, bomber jacket, and blue pants. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old actress, Pernas donned a stunning bright orange dress. The couple’s rings on their left ring fingers also made an impression. Hartley was spotted wearing a gold ring on his left ring finger while Pernas had a diamond ring.

The pair previously worked together on “The Young and the Restless. They reconnected a few years after their stint and began dating. They announced that they were dating through an Instagram post back in January.

Justin Hartley & Previous Marriages

Hartley has had his share of partners. He got married to Lindsay Korman and they have a child named Isabella, who is now 16 years old. They got divorced in 2012. He started going out with Chrishell Stause two years after his split with Korman. Stause and Hartley got married in 2017 but separated in 2019. Their divorce was finalized in January 2021.

The actor hasn’t been very vocal about his personal life. He didn’t appreciate it with his ex-wife, Stause opened up about their past relationship.

The actress said “I’m trying to keep it together. It’s a lot at once because everyone in the whole world knows at the same time that I knew.”

“Have you ever been knocked over by a wave and you don’t know what way to swim to get up? … I found out because he texted me that we were filed. Forty-five minutes later, the world knew,” she added.

According to a source, the actor is “irritated that she’s airing their private information publicly and knows there is more to the story than is being told.”

“His close friends and family know what really happened, as does Chrishell, so ultimately it’s her choice of what is put out there,” the insider added.

Justin Hartley Cautions Daughter

The actor also said that he cautioned his daughter not to believe everything she reads about him in the newspaper.

“I think people want to know about other people’s personal affairs, but it’s just, I would just caution people,” he explained during his appearance on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy back in 2020.

“I caution my daughter on this all the time. I said, ‘You can’t — you really can’t just believe something because you read it.’ … I’ve sort of always had this view that I will live a public [life], but I will be very private about my personal affairs,” he said.
