Justin Timberlake Prepares To Make Return To Music With “Selfish”

It’s been six years since fans got to hear Justin Timberlake release solo music. Doesn’t mean that he’s been completely silent the whole while, because he’s been dropping hits for “Trolls” and his recent reunion with *NSYNC saw the group drop their first song in twenty years, “Better Days,” for the animated franchise. 2024 looks set to be the year Timberlake makes a huge comeback.

Justin Timberlake Announces Upcoming Project At Free Hometown Concert

Timberlake is done teasing fans, and in his one-night only concert at the Orpheum in Memphis, he finally revealed that a new project is on its way.

The Friday concert saw the star perform a totally new and unreleased song “Selfish” for the audience, along with playing his new single, “No Angels.”

The concert carried on for 90 minutes and was presented in front of an audience of 1,500 fans.
Before the concert, Timberlake and his team have been teasing this new era via tweets, Instagram posts and videos, so there was a lot of buildup before the great reveal.

While the “SexyBack” chart-topper didn’t share additional details of the album, a video posted around the time the show ended revealed: “Justin Timberlake Presents: ‘EVERYTHING I THOUGHT IT WAS’ Preface by Benicio Del Toro.” T-shirts for sale at the Memphis show also carried the words, “Everything I Thought It Was.” Splashed across the back of the shirts were “Everything I Thought It Was 2024 | Justin Timberlake | EITIW | Side A B C D.”

Filthy,” “Supplies,” “Say Something” featuring Chris Stapleton and “Man of the Woods” were singles from the record.

After six years, Timberlake looks set to show the world what a comeback truly is this 2024.
